Terms of Service

Effective: October 12, 2026 Last updated: October 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Kronive ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and the team behind Kronive. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. What Kronive Is

Kronive is a production prop and set management tool designed for film and television crews. It allows users to document, organize, and track physical props and set assets across scenes and projects.

3. Account Registration

To use Kronive, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Kronive only for its intended purpose — managing production assets on film or television sets. You agree not to:

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Kronive, including photographs, notes, and production data ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App on your behalf.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not sell it to third parties. AI-assisted analysis of your content (such as automatic prop description) is performed only to provide the App's features and is not used to train external AI models.

6. Account Deletion and Grace Period

Account deletion is scheduled after a 7-day grace period. Signing in does not cancel it — to cancel, use the explicit Cancel Deletion action in the App or on the account-deletion page before the period ends.

When you request account deletion, once the request is accepted we start a 7-day grace period. During this time:

After the grace period expires, your account and the personal-only data associated with it — projects that were never shared, including their scenes, prop records, and photographs — are permanently and irreversibly deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Deletion is blocked, not started, if you own a project that is or may have been shared, or that carries unresolved billing: you must first transfer ownership of that shared project to an accepted member (or resolve billing). If a blocker appears during the grace period, finalization pauses in an action-required state until you cancel, resolve it, or resume.

If you signed in as a team member on a shared project, your personal identity is removed but project-level records you contributed to are retained and pseudonymized (your identifier is redacted from stored event metadata) rather than deleted, to preserve production history for other team members. Requesting deletion does not by itself cancel an active paid subscription; cancel it through the platform you subscribed on.

7. Team Projects and Collaboration

Kronive allows project owners to invite team members via a Team Invite Link. These links create a join request that must be approved by a project Owner or Admin — access is never granted automatically.

Project Owners are responsible for managing their team's membership and ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to their project data.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights in the App itself — including its design, code, branding, and features — belong to us. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Kronive is licenced to you, not sold.

9. Disclaimers

Kronive is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Production environments are demanding. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of critical production data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of production time, arising from your use of the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email address on your account or through an in-app notice. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
